The Game Plan: A Quickfire Challenge

Day 1: The Elephant Challenge — Tarangire

Your adventure begins with an early departure to Tarangire National Park. Known for its towering baobab trees and massive elephant herds, Tarangire offers the first real test of your safari skills. Can you spot the big bull elephants or a lion hidden beneath the shade of an acacia? After a full day game drive and picnic lunch, we overnight near Tarangire or continue toward the Serengeti depending on your chosen route.

Day 2: Into the Serengeti Plains

We journey north through the Ngorongoro Highlands and into the legendary Serengeti. The drive itself is alive with wildlife and scenery, and once in the park the challenge continues with your first Serengeti game drive. Lions, giraffes, elephants, and endless herds of wildebeest await. Dinner and overnight in the Serengeti.

Day 3: The Big Cat Hunt — Serengeti

Today is dedicated entirely to the Serengeti. The endless plains are the hunting ground of Africa’s iconic predators: lion, leopard, and cheetah. Every sighting feels like a victory in the wildest game on earth. Depending on the season, you may also encounter the Great Migration. In the afternoon we head toward the Ngorongoro area, overnighting on the crater rim.

Day 4: The Big Five Grand Slam — Ngorongoro Crater

We descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater at dawn, entering a natural amphitheater with the highest density of wildlife in Africa. Today’s challenge: complete the Big Five — lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino — in a single day. After a thrilling game drive and picnic lunch, we ascend the crater wall and drive back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro, where your adventure concludes.
